‘Nigerian artistes should learn how to make music with depth’ – Ajebo Hustlers

The popular musical group Ajebo Hustlers has encouraged Nigerian artists to learn how to create "great music with depth."


The duo stated that some Nigerian artists lack perspective, and that they should learn from Omah Lay.

On their X account, Ajebo Hustlers wrote: "Y'all need to learn how to make excellent music with depth!! Learn from Omah Lay!! Think about what Omah Lay would say if he heard this record!!! Because you lack perspective!! Y'all have nothing to talk about, and that's boring as hell!!"

They did, however, agree that some exceptional artists are "dumbing down" their brilliance to pander to followers, who enjoy mediocrity.


"Real artists are attempting to dumb things down in order to attain significance!!! They wrote, "Na mediocrity una love."
