Jul 14 Super Falcons Star Omorinsola Babajide Joins AS Roma on Two-Year Deal

Super Falcons forward Omorinsola Babajide has officially joined Italian giants AS Roma Femminile on a free transfer, following the expiration of her contract with Spanish club UD Tenerife in May.

📜 The club announced on its official website that the versatile attacker has signed a two-year contract, adding depth and international flair to the Serie A Femminile champions.

Babajide, 26, becomes the latest Nigerian export to Italy, where she will now link up with compatriot and international teammate Shukurat Oladipo at Roma. She has been handed the jersey number 30 by the club.

Currently on national duty at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, the former Liverpool and Real Betis star will join up with her new squad after the tournament concludes.
