BBNaija: Tracy Accuses Kulture of Inappropriate Touch in the House

BBNaija: Tracy Accuses Kulture of Inappropriate Touch in the House

Big Brother Naija housemate Tracy has accused fellow housemate Kulture of attempting to touch her inappropriately during the night.

In a conversation with Zita on Saturday, Tracy recounted the uncomfortable encounter, explaining that Kulture tried to move closer to her on her bed and attempted to touch her against her will.

“He [Kulture] puts his hand on my bed and moved closer and was telling me to also come closer to him. In my head, I was like, come and do what?… The next thing he puts his hands inside my bracket and wanted to touch me.

“I told him, ‘Don’t touch me.’ He said, ‘You’ve shouted everybody will hear you.’ I said, ‘Yes [let them hear]. I don’t want you to touch me.’ I told him to move that I was not comfortable with him beside me. Then eventually he left,” she narrated.

Tracy added that Kulture even tried to persuade her not to raise her voice to avoid drawing attention from other housemates.

This allegation has sparked conversations among fans, with many recalling the 2017 edition of the show where Kemen was disqualified after being found guilty of touching fellow housemate TBoss inappropriately without her consent.

Opinion: Consent Must Never Be Ignored

Tracy’s revelation serves as a reminder of the ongoing importance of consent and respect in every interaction—whether inside a reality TV house or in the outside world. In a setting like BBNaija, where housemates live under constant surveillance and pressure, boundaries can sometimes be blurred, but this incident underscores that “no” must always mean no.

The fact that Tracy asserted herself and stood firm against pressure is commendable, but it also highlights the uncomfortable reality many women face when they must defend their personal space.

BBNaija, beyond being a source of entertainment, is a mirror of society, and situations like this spark necessary conversations about respect, accountability, and consequences. The show’s organizers have a responsibility to handle such matters with transparency to ensure housemates feel safe.

Ultimately, Tracy’s courage in speaking up reinforces a powerful truth: consent is not negotiable, and silence should never be mistaken for agreement.
