Manchester United legend Gary Neville has sparked fresh debate among football fans after naming Wayne Rooney—not Cristiano Ronaldo—as the greatest forward he ever watched at Old Trafford.

“He is the best, Wazza. He was the best forward I ever saw at Manchester United,” Neville said.

“He could do all the things that they could do. He could drop in, he could pass, he could finish, he could head, left-foot, right-foot, could sprint back and defend.”
