Peller Begins Marriage Counselling Ahead of Wedding to Jarvis, Buys TV Van for Live Broadcast
Nigerian TikTok star and streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has revealed that he is undergoing private traditional pre-marriage counselling as he prepares to marry his fiancée, Elizabeth Aminatu, popularly known as Jarvis.
In a video circulating online, Peller disclosed that he has been attending counselling sessions in the Ikorodu area of Lagos to learn how to be a better husband.
According to him, the classes are helping him understand how to properly care for and treat his bride after their wedding.
"I've been attending marriage counselling privately to learn how to treat Jarvis properly."
The content creator also revealed that he purchased a television broadcast van worth $36,000 to ensure their wedding can be watched live across the country.
"I even bought a $36,000 TV Van for our wedding because I want the whole of Nigeria to watch it live on television."
The revelation comes shortly after Peller and Jarvis announced that their white wedding will take place on August 1, 2026.
The couple have enjoyed a whirlwind journey to the altar. In June, Peller proposed to Jarvis during an intimate beachside ceremony in Ghana before travelling to Benin City to fulfil the traditional marriage rites and pay her bride price.
Since then, the pair have continued preparations for their highly anticipated wedding, even releasing behind-the-scenes clips from their wedding-themed content, which has kept fans engaged on social media.
The relationship has also attracted speculation, including rumours that Jarvis is expecting a child. However, Peller has previously dismissed the claims, insisting his priority remains building their future together.
Having become one of Nigeria's most popular social media couples since they began dating in 2024, Peller and Jarvis continue to generate widespread attention ahead of their big day.
Opinion:
Peller's decision to attend pre-marriage counselling sends a positive message about preparing for marriage beyond the glamour of wedding ceremonies. While the extravagant plans, including a live television broadcast, reflect the couple's status as digital celebrities, investing time in learning communication, responsibility and partnership may prove far more valuable in the long run than any lavish celebration.
