Cubana Chief Priest Gifts Peller ₦10 Million for Wedding, Says He Can't Wait to Become a Grandfather

Cubana Chief Priest Gifts Peller ₦10 Million for Wedding, Says He Can't Wait to Become a Grandfather

Nigerian socialite and businessman Cubana Chief Priest has pledged ₦10 million in support of TikTok star Peller's forthcoming wedding, expressing excitement about the young content creator's next chapter.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, Peller paid a visit to the celebrity barman with his wedding attire and invitation. During their meeting, Cubana Chief Priest asked what gift he wanted for the occasion before announcing a ₦10 million contribution toward the wedding.

The generous gesture left Peller visibly emotional, with the TikTok sensation shedding tears of joy as he thanked his mentor.

Sharing the moment online, Cubana Chief Priest celebrated Peller's decision to marry, describing it as a blessing.

"My Boy @peller089 Is Getting Married. I'm so excited for him because the Bible says he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord. We are shutting it down for them. I go soon turn Granpa," he wrote.

The latest development comes amid recent speculation surrounding Peller and his partner, Jarvis. A few days earlier, Cubana Chief Priest had fueled rumours during a livestream by suggesting that Jarvis was pregnant. However, Peller dismissed the claims, insisting that he is currently focused on building his career and urged the public to stop spreading pregnancy rumours about his fiancée.

Cubana Chief Priest has consistently shown support for the couple. Last year, he publicly appreciated Pastor Tobi Adegboyega for gifting Peller a Rolex wristwatch and presenting Jarvis with a luxury handbag.

Beyond his support for the young influencer, the socialite has remained vocal on lifestyle and success. He recently encouraged Nigerians to cultivate genuine friendships, stressing the value of having loyal people during difficult times. He also advised people to remain flexible after flying economy class, saying the destination matters more than the class of travel, although he has previously sparked controversy by encouraging people to "package" themselves to create opportunities.

Opinion:

Cubana Chief Priest's ₦10 million wedding gift highlights the growing culture of mentorship and financial support within Nigeria's entertainment and influencer space. While lavish public gestures often attract attention, they also demonstrate the influence successful personalities can have by investing in younger talents. More importantly, the moment reflects the strong relationships many creators build behind the scenes—connections that can be just as valuable as fame itself.
