Liquorose Opens Up on Family Goals and Wedding Plans: “I Want Nine Kids”

Former Big Brother Naija housemate and media personality Roseline Omokhoa Afije, popularly known as Liquorose, has given fans a rare glimpse into her personal life, sharing her aspirations for family, marriage, and celebrations in a recent podcast interview.

Appearing on the Off the Top podcast with VJ Adams on Tuesday, Liquorose surprised fans by revealing her long-term family vision.

“I want nine kids,” she said candidly, showcasing both her ambition and openness about her future plans.

The conversation also touched on her evolving views on marriage and the kind of wedding she envisions. Growing up, Liquorose imagined a quiet, private ceremony, but as she reflected on adulthood, she sees herself celebrating in style.

“At one point, I thought… I want a two-week wedding. I want something loud because it’s going to be a lot. Liquorose is taken! Officially. I have to do that,” she admitted.

She explained that she wants multiple days of festivities to mark the end of her singlehood, emphasizing a balance between public celebration and private moments with her partner.

“I have to party for like five days before the wedding. Party as a single girl, just have fun. I want something loud,” she said, adding:
“But I would have one celebration for myself that nobody will even have to see. It would just be me and whoever the person would be. Just me and him.”

OPINION: Liquorose Shows That Personal Growth Comes With Vision and Balance

Liquorose’s revelations go beyond celebrity gossip—they highlight a maturity that comes with self-awareness and planning. Her desire for a large family and carefully thought-out wedding plans show that she values both joyful celebration and meaningful intimacy.

In an era where social media often emphasizes instant gratification and public approval, Liquorose is quietly demonstrating that personal milestones can be both spectacular and private. She knows how to enjoy life publicly while still reserving sacred spaces for herself and her partner.

Her vision also reflects the aspirations of a modern woman unafraid to dream big: having a large family, celebrating life fully, and owning her narrative on her own terms. Fans are not only witnessing a celebrity’s plans—they are seeing an example of balancing ambition, tradition, and personal happiness.

For Liquorose, it seems, the next chapter of her life is about living fully, loving openly, and celebrating authentically—a lesson that resonates far beyond the Big Brother Naija stage.
