Ebuka Songs Finally Speaks on His Exit from Moses Bliss' Spotlite Nation
Popular gospel singer Ebuka Songs has broken his silence on why he left Moses Bliss’ record label, Spotlite Nation, just 11 months after signing a three-year contract.
There had been widespread speculation about his sudden departure, with Moses Bliss previously stating in an interview that Ebuka left to pursue his music independently. However, in a recent interview with the Open Up Podcast, Ebuka finally addressed the situation, revealing that his decision was deeply rooted in his spiritual journey.
Ebuka’s Reason for Leaving
According to Ebuka Songs, he left the record label to focus on his ministry, emphasizing that he remains grateful for the platform and mentorship he received under Moses Bliss.
"I will always be grateful for Moses Bliss’ role in my life because at that time, I had the anointing and the gift, but I didn’t know how to go about it professionally," he said.
"I am grateful for the journey I have been through, but at this point, the next level is to focus on my ministry. And we are in a good space."
Why He Stayed Silent Until Now
The "Jesus Oh" crooner also explained why he kept quiet about his exit, stating that he didn’t want unnecessary controversy to overshadow his next phase in life.
"The reason why I kept quiet about my exit or said nothing since that time is because I didn’t want it to generate more conversations," he explained. "We all get to the point where we just want to be focused on the next phase of our lives, and because of the assignment of God upon my life."
A Mutual and Respectful Separation?
From both Moses Bliss’ and Ebuka Songs’ accounts, there seems to be no bad blood between them. While the gospel music industry has witnessed several controversial exits in the past, Ebuka’s departure appears to be a peaceful and spiritual decision rather than a fallout.
Fans continue to support both artists, eagerly anticipating what God has in store for Ebuka Songs in this new chapter of his ministry.
