Tunji Adeleke, Davido’s cousin and a Nigerian politician, has come forward with harrowing new details about what allegedly occurred during the now-viral altercation at a nightclub in Ibiza, Spain. The event was part of the wedding celebrations of Davido’s longtime friend and manager, Asa Asika.
Davido had earlier sparked global concern when he posted on Instagram Stories, claiming that security guards at the venue “tried to kill” him and his team.
Now, Tunji—one of those involved—has shared his own firsthand account, and it's chilling.
“My neck hurts!!! My neck oooo, my throat ooo!!! I’m on the way to hospital... I do not feel fine. Pray for me!” he posted on X (formerly Twitter).
According to Tunji, the security guards attacked from behind, nearly choking him unconscious, an incident he suspects may have been racially motivated.
“I suspect racism! Such a great night! Good energy… until the end. Choking and attacking us facing the back? WHY? We need the camera footages!”
