Neighbour Recalls Final Moments of Late Nollywood Actress Allwell Ademola

A neighbour of the late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has shared a poignant account of the actress’s final moments, describing the urgency and distress that surrounded her passing.

Speaking on Abiola Adebayo’s YouTube podcast, the neighbour explained that it took over 30 minutes for Allwell to open her door, as she struggled to dress. The neighbour added that had Allwell known the gravity of her condition, she would not have minded anyone breaking down the door to reach her.

“About five or six people lifted her into a car after she finally opened the door. Everyone around Pipeline noticed something was wrong because of the urgency,” the neighbour said. She described how she herself had to drive the car quickly, despite usually disliking driving out of gates, as she rushed to get Allwell the help she needed.

The neighbour’s testimony paints a picture of Allwell’s vulnerability and the swift response of those around her, highlighting the human side behind the headlines.

Opinion: A Reminder of Life’s Fragility

This account is a touching reminder of how sudden and fragile life can be. Allwell Ademola was known for her vibrant presence on screen, and hearing about her final moments underscores the depth of loss felt by friends, colleagues, and fans alike. It also reflects the importance of community care—her neighbours’ quick actions, even under pressure, likely provided her comfort in her final hours.

Allwell’s passing is a loss to Nollywood, but the neighbour’s story preserves a human, personal perspective on the actress’s final moments, ensuring she is remembered not just as a star, but as a person surrounded by those who cared for her deeply.
