BBNaija Winner Imisi Names Her Dogs After Reality Show Friends, Sparks Reactions

BBNaija Winner Imisi Names Her Dogs After Reality Show Friends, Sparks Reactions

Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner Imisi has revealed a surprising and playful way she chose to honour some of her closest friendships from the reality show.

Speaking during a recent episode of the Drink Or Spill podcast alongside fellow reality star Kola Omotosho, Imisi disclosed that she named her three dogs after her friends from the Big Brother Naija house — Kola, Kaybobo and Isabella.

According to her, the dogs are named Coco, Bella and Bobs, inspired by the trio she bonded with during the show.

“I named my three dogs after my friends from BBNaija. I have Coco, Bella and Bobs. That is Kola, Isabella and Kaybobo,” she said.

Reacting humorously, Kola jokingly protested the idea of being associated with a pet name, saying, “Don’t be unfortunate. You can’t call your dog after me. Anyway, my name is not Coco.”

During the conversation, Kola also opened up about his personal life, revealing that he is currently single but ready to embrace a relationship if the right person comes along.

The revelation has since generated mixed reactions online, with fans finding the gesture both funny and endearing.

Opinion: Friendship, Humor, and the BBNaija Bond That Lasts Beyond the House

Reality TV friendships often fade once the cameras stop rolling, but Imisi’s gesture — whether humorous or sentimental — reflects something deeper about the bonds formed under intense shared experiences.

Naming pets after friends may sound unusual, but it also highlights how meaningful those relationships were to her. It shows that beyond the drama, competition and fame, genuine connections can emerge from reality television.

Kola’s playful reaction also reminds fans why audiences love BBNaija personalities — authenticity, humor and relatability. Moments like this humanize celebrities, making them feel closer to everyday people.

Ultimately, the story is less about dogs’ names and more about loyalty and memories. In a world where friendships often feel temporary, gestures — even funny ones — can symbolize lasting connections.
