Tega Dominic Denies Affair Allegations Involving Frank Edoho, Threatens Legal Action
Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tega Dominic, has publicly denied allegations linking her to an alleged affair with media personality Frank Edoho, following claims made by Edoho’s estranged wife, Sandra.
In a detailed statement shared via her X (formerly Twitter) handle, Tega described the allegations as false and damaging, insisting that her relationship with Edoho has strictly remained professional and friendly.
She explained that their connection began around mid-2025 after Edoho reached out to her while sending birthday wishes to her mother. According to her, they already had mutual recognition through social media and industry familiarity before that interaction.
“I honestly did not want to speak on this because I have spent a long time trying to stay away from unnecessary drama, but at this point, my silence is no longer helping. I have absolutely no sexual or emotional relationship with Frank Edoho,” she wrote.
Tega further clarified that she has only met Edoho once, and that the meeting took place in the presence of her manager, Paul Ukonu. She also emphasized that there was never any inappropriate conduct between them.
She stated that both she and Edoho were separated at the time of their friendship and insisted she has nothing to hide regarding their interactions.
“If you know me, you know I have never been the type to hide or sneak around. I say things exactly as they are,” she added.
The reality TV star also expressed concern over what she described as a threat to her personal brand and reputation, noting that she has worked hard to build her career over time. She called for evidence to support the allegations and warned that she would not ignore the matter.
Tega concluded by stating that she has instructed her legal team to handle the situation going forward.
Opinion: Public Figures, Private Lives, and the Cost of Viral Accusations
This situation once again highlights how quickly personal allegations involving public figures can escalate in the age of social media. In the entertainment and media space, reputation is often as valuable as talent, and even unverified claims can cause lasting damage.
For celebrities like Tega Dominic, responding publicly becomes a difficult balancing act—staying silent may look like acceptance, while speaking out risks prolonging the controversy. Her decision to issue a detailed clarification and involve legal steps shows how seriously such accusations are taken in today’s digital environment.
At the same time, the incident raises concerns about how easily narratives can spread without clear evidence. While public curiosity around celebrity relationships is nothing new, the speed of online discourse often leaves little room for verification before judgment is passed.
Ultimately, this case underscores a growing need for caution in public commentary. In an era where information travels faster than facts can be confirmed, the line between speculation and reality becomes dangerously thin—and the consequences for reputations can be significant and long-lasting.
