Actor Tioroju Mondusi Opens Up on Painful Marriage Betrayal, Says Late Wife Admitted Two Children Were Not His

Veteran Nollywood actor Abdul Salam Taofeek, popularly known as Tioroju Mondusi, has shared what he describes as the most painful experience of his life, revealing a heartbreaking story of betrayal involving his late wife.

Speaking during an interview on the African A-List Podcast, the actor recounted how his marriage took a dramatic turn when his wife, who was heavily pregnant at the time, allegedly left their home and became involved with another man.

According to Mondusi, the incident remains the deepest emotional wound he has ever experienced.

"The only person that did the most painful thing to me in life is my wife. The incident brought tears from my eyes. She's late now, may God forgive her," he said.

The actor explained that about five years ago, he returned from a movie location to discover that his wife, who was then nine months pregnant with what he believed was their fifth child, was no longer at home. Efforts to reach her proved unsuccessful for two days, and when he eventually made contact, she reportedly refused to disclose her whereabouts.

His search for answers led him to her mother's residence, where he claimed he discovered evidence suggesting that she had conducted an introduction ceremony with another man who was already married and had four children.

Mondusi alleged that when he confronted her, she openly questioned his claim to the pregnancy and later insisted on holding the child's naming ceremony at his residence after the birth.

The actor said the situation escalated, eventually leading to legal proceedings to dissolve their marriage. It was during the court case, according to him, that his wife allegedly admitted that both their third child and the newborn were not biologically his.

He further claimed that she had maintained a long-term relationship with the other man and that the relationship ultimately ended in disappointment when the man allegedly abandoned her.

The veteran actor disclosed that his former wife passed away last year after reportedly battling depression.
