Gospel Singer Toluwanisings, Crew Survive Ghastly Road Accident After Ministry Assignment
Nigerian gospel singer Toluwanisings and members of his team have survived a serious road accident involving their band bus and a fully loaded trailer.
The accident occurred on Saturday morning as the singer and his crew were returning from a gospel ministration. Although the collision left their vehicle badly damaged, all members of the team survived.
Sharing photos of the wrecked bus on Instagram, the gospel minister described the incident as an attack that, in his belief, was overcome by divine protection.
"And we survived what would have claimed our lives. My Israel will not die in the hands of Pharaoh, laye laye. When the enemy came like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord raised a standard against them!"
He also expressed gratitude for what he described as God's protection over himself and his team.
"This is how my team and I would have been totally crushed by a fully loaded trailer on our way from a ministration this morning."
The singer described God as the ultimate source of protection, thanking Him for preserving their lives despite the severity of the accident.
While the exact cause of the crash has not been disclosed, the incident has sparked an outpouring of prayers and goodwill messages from fans and fellow gospel ministers, many of whom expressed gratitude that there were no reported fatalities among the occupants of the bus.
Opinion:
Road accidents remain one of the greatest risks faced by Nigerians, particularly those who travel frequently for work and ministry. Regardless of one's personal beliefs, surviving such a serious collision is something to be thankful for. The incident also serves as another reminder of the importance of road safety, proper vehicle maintenance and responsible driving by all road users to help prevent avoidable tragedies.
