Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has expressed heartfelt gratitude following the outpouring of love she received as she celebrated her 55th birthday.

Ahead of the celebrations, Kate posted elegant photos of herself alongside a heartfelt reflection, revealing that she has "lived, loved, lost, learned, fallen and risen."

She later delighted fans with another series of glamorous pictures, confidently declaring that her "face card is still valid," while embracing her new age with humour and style.

To commemorate the occasion, the screen icon held a Thanksgiving service at Pastor Ituah Ighodalo's Trinity House Church in Lagos on July 19, 2026.
