Mo Bimpe Threatens Legal Action Over Fake Paternity Rumours About Her Triplets

Nollywood actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, has vowed to take legal action against individuals behind a viral social media post alleging paternity fraud involving one of her newborn triplets.

The controversy began after an X user, @iam_Mardiyyah, shared a post claiming that Mo Bimpe's husband, actor Lateef Adedimeji, had filed for divorce following the outcome of an alleged DNA test.

The now-viral post falsely claimed that doctors at a general hospital rejected Lateef's blood donation for one of the babies because of an alleged blood group mismatch, prompting a paternity test which supposedly revealed that the actor was not the biological father of the triplets.

Reacting on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, Mo Bimpe categorically dismissed the allegations as false and accused online trolls of fabricating stories and using manipulated images to target her family.

Expressing her anger, the actress warned that while she had ignored years of online trolling, involving her children was a step too far.

She wrote:

"I don't want to hear justice for whatever your stupid name is by the time I am ready for you! You silly trolls have constantly trolled me on these platforms for years & I've been quiet, but what I wouldn't take is you bringing your stupidity to my children!!! Be warned! I won't hesitate to take the right action if need be."

She also condemned the circulation of fake images alongside fabricated claims.

"It's the nerve to post fake/AI pictures together with fabricated lies for me! Such effrontery!"

The actress's response has attracted widespread support from fans and colleagues, many of whom condemned the spread of unverified information involving her family.

Neither Mo Bimpe nor Lateef Adedimeji has given any indication that there is truth to the allegations, with the actress maintaining that the claims are entirely fabricated.
