Tacha Defends Faith’s Disqualification from BBNaija All Stars: “Respect Is Reciprocal”

Tacha Defends Faith’s Disqualification from BBNaija All Stars: “Respect Is Reciprocal”

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has weighed in on the recent disqualification of Faith Adewale from the ongoing 10th season of the reality show — and her take is as bold as ever.

Faith’s shocking exit came after a heated altercation with fellow housemate Sultana during a group task rehearsal, which escalated into a physical confrontation. Following the incident, Big Brother’s decision to disqualify Faith sparked mixed reactions online, with fans divided over whether the punishment was fair.

However, speaking during an interview on TVC News, Tacha said the move was justified.

“There’s nothing disappointing about Faith’s disqualification. I saw the clip of his altercation with Sultana. As much as he is always demanding respect, he should also know that respect is reciprocal,” she stated.

“Whatever the task was, I don’t think it was that deep for them to drag the bucket to the point of injuring Sultana. When you go into the house, there’s a rule book. You know you can’t at any point be physical with another housemate. And if you do, the judgment is in Big Brother’s hand,” Tacha added.

Interestingly, Tacha’s opinion comes from a place of experience — she was herself disqualified from the 2019 ‘Pepper Dem’ season after a violent confrontation with fellow housemate Mercy Eke.

Opinion: Growth, Grace, and the Game — Tacha’s Words Carry Weight

Tacha’s comments might sound stern, but they reflect growth and maturity. Her stance is not just about defending Big Brother’s rules; it’s about acknowledging that discipline is part of the game.

Coming from someone who once faced the same fate, her words carry a weight of experience and wisdom. It’s a full-circle moment — the once fiery contestant now preaching accountability and restraint.

Reality TV may thrive on drama, but there’s a line between entertainment and aggression. Faith’s disqualification serves as a reminder that while emotions can run high, self-control remains the ultimate show of strength.

And perhaps, in a poetic twist, Tacha’s own journey from disqualified to dignified commentator proves that mistakes can become powerful lessons — if only one chooses to learn from them.
