Do2dtun Appreciates Bolanle Ninalowo’s Support Amid Ongoing Custody and Relocation Controversy

Nigerian media personality Do2dtun has publicly expressed deep appreciation for Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo, following the actor’s heartfelt show of support amid his ongoing battle over the alleged relocation of his children to the United States without his consent.

Earlier reports revealed that Do2dtun accused the American Embassy in Nigeria of allowing his ex-wife, Taiwo Oyebanjo, to travel out of the country with their children without securing his approval as a co-parent. The OAP also alleged that a former US consulate official conspired with Taiwo’s family to facilitate the move—claims that have since generated widespread public debate.

Ninalowo, who has openly shared his own struggles fighting for custody and access to his children in the past, encouraged Do2dtun not to give up, reminding him that the journey, though painful, is not impossible. The actor disclosed that he once had to put his entire life in Nigeria on pause to fight for his children abroad, emphasizing that his son’s words kept him going during his darkest moments.

Reacting, a visibly emotional Do2dtun thanked Ninalowo for not only speaking up publicly but also guiding him privately through conversations filled with empathy, experience, and encouragement.
He described the actor as a “true one,” acknowledging how Ninalowo’s personal journey has inspired him to keep pressing forward.

“I have seen all types of judgment from different people, but what is the worth of all that over my kids?” Do2dtun wrote.
“People move on easily, but those who genuinely understand the bond between parent and child know it’s deeper than that. This is more than a fight; it’s a witch hunt that tries to paint me in a bad light just to win.”

He added that despite the silence and misconceptions surrounding his situation, support from people like Ninalowo strengthens his resolve to continue fighting for his children’s future.

Opinion: When Co-Parenting Conflicts Become Public, Society Must Rethink Its Judgments

Cases like Do2dtun’s expose a sensitive reality that many separated parents—especially fathers—face in Nigeria. While the public is often quick to take sides, the deeper issue lies in how society sometimes trivializes the emotional and legal struggles of co-parenting, especially when international travel and custody disagreements are involved.

The ease with which a child can be relocated without the other parent’s consent—if proven true—raises serious questions about parental rights, legal loopholes, and the role of institutions meant to protect those rights.

What stands out in this situation is not just the conflict but the humanity behind it. Two fathers—Do2dtun and Ninalowo—remind us that fatherhood is not a role they walk away from. It is a bond they are willing to fight for, even at personal and financial cost.

In a society where men are often expected to “move on,” it is refreshing—and necessary—for such conversations to come to light. These stories encourage a broader dialogue about:

  • Fairness in custody battles

  • Transparency in immigration-related decisions involving minors

  • Emotional accountability from both parents

  • Society’s responsibility to avoid bias or uninformed judgment

At its core, this is not a celebrity drama—it is a deeply human struggle for connection, fairness, and the right to remain present in one’s child’s life.

And maybe, just maybe, this public moment will push more people to pause before judging, and instead consider the simple truth Do2dtun echoed:

A parent fighting for their child is not the villain. They are simply a parent who refuses to be erased.
