Afrobeats heavyweight David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that his creative spirit goes beyond the microphone. The global music star said that even if he wasn't a singer, his life would still revolve around the entertainment industry — just from a different angle.

In a recent conversation with content creator Darryl, Davido explained that his passion for the arts could have led him into acting or a role behind the scenes in music and film production.

“I studied business marketing, so I would have still been in the entertainment space, but probably, more of behind the scenes,” Davido shared.

“I can also act. I can act for real. I act in my music videos — I acted in videos like ‘Jowo’ and ‘Nwa Baby’,” he added.
