Morayo Afolabi-Brown Resigns from TVC After 12 Years to Pursue Passion Project

Veteran broadcaster and Managing Director of TVC Entertainment, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, has officially resigned from her role at TVC Communications, bringing to a close a distinguished 12-year tenure with the station.

Her exit was confirmed in a statement released by TVC on Tuesday, with her final day scheduled for Thursday, August 29.

Morayo, who is widely known as the host of the popular morning talk show “Your View”, is stepping down to pursue a personal passion project she has been nurturing privately for some time.

“Morayo’s decision to step down after 12 remarkable years… is driven by her desire to pursue a long-held passion project that she has nurtured over time,” the company said.

TVC acknowledged her remarkable impact, not only on the “Your View” platform but also in shaping conversations across Nigeria's media space.

While her departure marks the end of an era, the station reassured viewers that “Your View” will continue to air as usual, promising to maintain the same level of quality and relevance.

“Morayo will be dearly missed… however, the show remains strong and will continue to deliver the quality and relevance our audience has come to expect.”

🌟 A Legacy of Influence

Since its inception, Your View has served as a leading platform for discussing topical national issues, especially women-centric debates, thanks to Morayo’s distinctive moderating style and fearless approach.

Her exit is expected to usher in a new phase for the show, while Morayo begins what many hope will be an equally impactful new journey in her career.

Fans and colleagues have begun pouring in tributes, celebrating her legacy as one of Nigeria’s most respected voices in media.
