Keivo has been disqualified from Big Brother Naija Season 11 after a physical altercation with fellow housemate Tram. He is the second housemate to be disqualified this season. Since leaving, he has deleted show-related posts from his Instagram and limited comments, drawing mixed reactions from viewers.

The rule that does not bend

Big Brother Naija has always treated physical violence as an automatic exit, whatever the provocation and however popular the housemate. Two disqualifications in one season shows the rule is being enforced, and that the pressure inside the house this year is running high.

One reaction, "U never ready", was widely shared.

The part fans forget. Reality TV is designed to put tired, competitive young people under pressure in a confined space, then broadcast the result. Disqualifying someone for crossing a line is right. Piling on afterwards is a choice viewers make, and limiting comments is a reasonable thing for anyone to do when the pile-on begins.
The house rewards drama right up to the moment drama becomes a fist.

Keivo now has to rebuild outside the house with a disqualification attached to his name. Previous housemates have managed it with time, a quiet apology and work that gives people something else to talk about.
