Nigerian comedian Koffi has called on authorities to investigate social media influencer King Mitchy following her controversial live videos in which she allegedly staged harmful acts in what many have described as “fake” self-harm attempts.

The incident comes amid her ongoing public dispute with social critic VeryDarkMan over issues relating to her NGO and unfinished projects. During two separate live sessions, King Mitchy reportedly appeared to consume harmful substances, sparking panic and widespread reactions online.

She later released a statement claiming she had been admitted to a hospital in Abuja. However, the hospital in question reportedly denied having any record of her admission.

Reacting to the development, Koffi strongly condemned the influencer’s actions and urged law enforcement agencies to take immediate steps.

“This young lady that has been having issues with Very Dark Man, I want her to be arrested immediately… What that young lady has come on camera to do is setting the tone and pace for a future we cannot control,” he said.

He further expressed concern about the potential influence such actions could have on young viewers, warning that public figures must be mindful of the signals they send. According to reports, the incident occurred in Abuja, though the FCT Police Command has yet to issue an official statement. Efforts to reach the police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.
