Alleged Ex-Partner Accuses K1 De Ultimate of Denying Paternity, Singer Yet to Respond
A woman identified as Ogechi, who claims to be a former pedicurist and ex-partner of Fuji music star Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (K1 De Ultimate/Kwam1), has publicly accused the singer of refusing to acknowledge the paternity of her teenage daughter.
Speaking in an interview with Feel Rightnews, Ogechi alleged that she was in a relationship with the veteran musician for about seven years before becoming pregnant with their daughter, Azizat.
According to her, K1 allegedly asked her to terminate the pregnancy and promised to send money for the procedure, but she claimed the assistance never came.
She further alleged that after giving birth, she sought intervention from the late Kabiru Agbabiaka and also visited the singer's mother in a bid to resolve the matter.
Ogechi claimed that K1's mother became emotional after seeing the child because of what she described as a strong family resemblance.
"I dated Wasiu Ayinde Marshall for about seven years before I eventually became pregnant. When I informed him, he said he wasn't interested and asked me to abort the pregnancy. He said he would send someone with money for the abortion, but nobody came," she alleged.
Responding to questions during the interview, Ogechi maintained that the Fuji icon is the biological father of her daughter, explaining that their relationship began after she worked as his pedicurist before later providing home services.
The teenager, identified as Azizat, also appealed publicly to the singer, alleging that he has refused to accept responsibility for her.
In an emotional message, she introduced herself as the daughter of K1 De Ultimate and Ogechi, saying she longs for recognition and support from the man she believes is her father.
She further claimed that she wrote a song inspired by her experiences and hopes to one day perform it for the world.
As of the time of filing this report, K1 De Ultimate has not publicly responded to the allegations, and the claims made by Ogechi and her daughter remain unverified.
Opinion
Paternity disputes involving public figures often generate intense public attention, but allegations alone should not be treated as established facts. Every individual involved deserves fairness, and any determination of paternity should be based on credible evidence or appropriate legal processes rather than speculation on social media. Until K1 De Ultimate responds or the matter is resolved through the proper channels, it is important to approach the claims with caution and respect the rights of all parties involved.
