Anderlecht Target Chidera Ejuke in €4 Million Move from Sevilla
Chidera Ejuke has emerged as a transfer target for Belgian Pro League side RSC Anderlecht ahead of the 2026/27 season.
According to reports from El Gol Digital, Anderlecht are prepared to offer €4 million to sign the Nigerian winger from Sevilla FC.
Ejuke has been linked with a move away from the Spanish club following another difficult campaign. The 28-year-old managed one goal and one assist in 27 league appearances for Sevilla last season.
The pacey winger is no stranger to Belgian football, having previously spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Royal Antwerp, where he gained valuable experience in the Pro League.
Ejuke joined Sevilla on a free transfer two years ago but has struggled to establish himself as a consistent starter.
With Anderlecht looking to strengthen their attacking options, the Belgian giants see the Super Eagles winger as a player capable of adding pace, creativity and experience to their squad.
Opinion
A move to Anderlecht could be an ideal opportunity for Ejuke to revive his career. His previous experience in Belgium means there would be little adaptation required, and the Pro League's style of play may better suit his direct dribbling and pace than La Liga has. At 28, regular football is crucial if he hopes to remain in contention for Nigeria's national team, making a transfer this summer a sensible option if Sevilla are willing to part ways with him.
