Sarah Martins Reveals Why She Turned Down Romantic Proposal

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has revealed that she recently declined a marriage proposal despite an elaborate romantic gesture.

Sharing the experience on her Instagram page, the actress disclosed that a man booked an entire cinema exclusively for the two of them before asking her to be his partner.

According to Sarah, she respectfully declined the proposal, explaining that past relationship experiences have made her cautious about love and that she is currently focused on building her career and financial success.

"After booking an entire cinema for just the two of us… he asked, 'Will you be my woman?'

I politely said NO for now.

This is not the first time the actress has made headlines over her views on relationships.

Earlier this year, Sarah accused a dispatch rider of behaving inappropriately after he professed his love for her. She initially believed he had lost his job following the incident but later clarified that he had only received a caution. She explained that her intention was never to deprive anyone of their livelihood but simply to ensure he was warned over his conduct.

Despite rejecting his advances, the actress later treated the rider to a shopping outing and a luxury lunch, stressing that her gesture was an act of kindness rather than a sign of romantic interest. She also maintained that she was not interested in pursuing a relationship with him.

Sarah subsequently claimed the rider was married with a daughter and expressed disappointment that he allegedly concealed his family while publicly declaring his affection for her.

In another revelation that attracted attention, the actress alleged that a married woman once offered her $10,000 to participate in a threesome involving the woman and her husband. Sarah said she rejected the offer, stating that such an arrangement was not something she was willing to consider.
