Imisi Ayanwale’s Fans Take Campaign to Luli Concert, Galvanise Support Ahead of BBNaija Finale
Supporters of Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Imisi Ayanwale, have taken their campaign to a spiritual level — literally — by rallying votes at the annual Luli Concert of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), held on Friday night at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.
Imisi, who currently ranks among the Top 10 finalists of the show, is a proud and active member of the CCC, with deep roots in the church’s gospel community. According to her fans, the concert presented a “strategic platform” to mobilise massive support ahead of Sunday’s grand finale.
Videos that surfaced online showed fans of the reality star dressed in branded T-shirts and white garments (sutana) — the signature attire of the Celestial fold — distributing flyers and campaign materials to worshippers and attendees.
One video obtained by PUNCH Online showed a large banner of Imisi surrounded by excited supporters encouraging concertgoers to vote for their favourite “Celestial Queen.”
The Luli Concert is one of Nigeria’s biggest gospel music gatherings, drawing thousands of worshippers and featuring performances from popular gospel artists such as Tope Alabi, Shola Allyson, Toluwani Sings, Bidemi Olaoba, and Lilian Nneji.
For Imisi’s supporters, the event was a divine opportunity to reach both the church’s faithful and the general audience who admire her calm personality, emotional openness, and spiritual strength — qualities that have earned her a strong following within and outside the house.
As the BBNaija Season 10 finale approaches, Imisi is expected to rely on her faith-based fan base and spiritual community to keep her momentum strong.
The voting lines were opened last Sunday after the announcement of the Top 10 finalists: Kola, Imisi, Isabella, Sultana, Jason Jae, Mensan, Koyin, Kaybobo, Dede, and Faith.
However, Faith was later disqualified on Thursday for physically assaulting fellow housemate Sultana, leaving nine contestants to battle for the ultimate crown.
Opinion: Imisi’s Faith-Based Campaign — Divine Strategy or Bold New Trend?
It’s not every day that you see a reality TV campaign cross paths with a religious concert, but that’s exactly what makes Imisi’s supporters stand out.
The Luli Concert is not just a musical event; it’s a gathering of faith, music, and community. Taking a campaign there might seem unconventional, but it reflects how deeply reality shows like BBNaija have embedded themselves in Nigeria’s cultural fabric — from street corners to sanctuaries.
Some might question whether faith and entertainment should mix, but Imisi’s story shows that authenticity resonates everywhere. She has carried herself with grace, calmness, and a sense of spirituality that mirrors her Celestial background. In a house often dominated by drama and tension, her emotional depth and gentle strength have become her loudest statement.
Her campaign at the Luli Concert wasn’t just about votes; it was about identity — showing that spirituality and ambition can coexist, and that one’s faith can be a source of strength even in the glitz of showbiz.
If she wins, Imisi’s story could set a refreshing precedent — that you don’t need to lose your values to shine under the spotlight. And if she doesn’t, one thing is certain: she has already inspired a generation of young believers to be unashamedly themselves, even in the world’s biggest reality show.
