Nons Miraj Opens Up About Handling Online Criticism and Misconceptions About Her Success

Nons Miraj Opens Up About Handling Online Criticism and Misconceptions About Her Success

Content creator and actress Nons Miraj recently shared insights into her approach to online trolling, public scrutiny, and personal life during an appearance on 10 Questions With Kemi Posh, hosted by media personality Kemi Posh.

Speaking candidly, Nons Miraj revealed that she handles negativity on social media through silence, allowing critics’ energy to dissipate without engagement. “No matter how well you drag me online, I will always stay mute. When I go mute on you, you will focus on something else. That’s how I operate,” she explained.

She also addressed rumors claiming her brand is backed by a wealthy male sponsor. The Hunt Games Show host insisted that her achievements come from her hard work, not financial patronage. “Then they think a man is sponsoring my brand. But what they fail to understand is that I work very hard,” she stated. “I might get people dashing me gifts, but no man has said, ‘Let me sponsor your show, take this 50 million.’”

Nons Miraj emphasized that she doesn’t feel compelled to prove herself to detractors. “That’s their thinking, it’s their headache. When they finish thinking, they do something else. I don’t have strength to prove a point to you. Because the more I try to prove a point, the more you feel like this girl is trying to cover up something,” she said.

On a more personal note, she opened up about her love language, highlighting gifting and quality time as most meaningful. “Gifting is my love language. I love quality time. Before, I didn’t understand how important quality time was, but now I need quality time,” she added.

Opinion: Rising Above Noise in the Age of Social Media

Nons Miraj’s approach offers an important lesson for public figures navigating the pressures of online attention. In an era where scrutiny is constant and misinformation spreads rapidly, choosing when to engage—and when to remain silent—can be a powerful form of control. Her refusal to chase validation, paired with a commitment to hard work, demonstrates a mature perspective on building a personal brand in today’s digital landscape.

Her candid reflections also humanize her, showing that even public figures have boundaries and personal priorities, like valuing meaningful connections over superficial approval. For aspiring creators, Nons Miraj’s strategy of quiet resilience and focus on authentic growth is not just admirable—it’s essential in a world where social media can amplify both praise and criticism in equal measure.
