Yvonne Jegede Identifies Three Categories of Tinubu Supporters, Sparks Online Debate
Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has sparked reactions online after sharing her opinion on the different categories of supporters of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Taking to her Instagram page, the actress expressed concerns about the current situation in Nigeria and said she believes supporters of the government fall into three major groups.
According to Yvonne, the first group are those she described as “we don enter am.” She claimed these supporters may have doubts privately but remain committed because of certain connections or interests they cannot abandon.
The second group, which she called “the believers,” are those who continue to hope that things will improve with time and believe future opportunities, including another political term, could bring better results.
She described the third group as “the delusional ones,” saying they live in a different reality and jokingly added that they need prayers.
“3 Types of Tinubu supporters,” she wrote.
“The ‘we don enter am’ — these ones know in their heart that nothing makes sense, but they have ties they can’t break.
“The believers — these ones believe something will happen eventually, maybe another tenure, and things will get better.
“The delusional ones — these ones live in a bubble. These ones? Just be praying for them.”
Yvonne’s comments have generated mixed reactions, with some Nigerians agreeing with her perspective while others criticised the actress for generalising supporters of the administration.
The actress has previously expressed strong opinions about Nigeria’s political situation, including criticism of some government supporters and calls for citizens to reflect on the impact of leadership decisions.
Her latest remarks come amid ongoing public conversations among entertainers and Nigerians about governance, economic challenges and the direction of the country.
The debate once again highlights how deeply divided public opinion remains over the performance of the current administration, with supporters and critics offering different views on the government’s progress and challenges.
