Galatasaray Plot Shock Move for Bruno Fernandes to Partner Victor Osimhen in Attack

Galatasaray Plot Shock Move for Bruno Fernandes to Partner Victor Osimhen in Attack

Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes this summer as they look to strengthen their squad around Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

According to Turkish journalist Yakup Çınar, Fernandes is on Galatasaray’s transfer shortlist, with the Portugal international expected to make a decision on his future after the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

“Bruno Fernandes is definitely on Galatasaray’s transfer list. He’s waiting for the World Cup, then he will make his decision,” Çınar said.

The report claims Manchester United have significant expectations regarding a potential transfer fee, while Fernandes’ salary demands could also play a major role in negotiations.

A move to Istanbul would represent a major statement from Galatasaray, who are already building their attacking plans around Osimhen and are looking to add more creativity and experience to their squad.

Opinion:
A partnership between Bruno Fernandes and Victor Osimhen would be exciting on paper. Osimhen thrives on service, movement, and quick attacking transitions, while Fernandes is known for his creativity, passing range, and ability to produce decisive moments.

However, convincing Manchester United to sell their captain would be a difficult task. Fernandes remains one of the club’s most influential players, and any deal would likely depend on both the player’s ambitions and United’s plans for the future.
