Timi Dakolo Denies Debt Allegation, Responds to DJ Timmy Through Lawyer

Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has formally responded to allegations made by disc jockey DJ Timmy, who recently accused him of owing money and threatened to expose details about his private life.

Earlier, DJ Timmy had taken to social media to accuse the singer of failing to settle an alleged debt. He also warned Dakolo to prepare to explain his alleged "sexcapades" and other personal matters to his wife and the public.

The singer's legal team explained that the disputed amount relates to expenses connected with a proposed project, including venue arrangements, graphic design, domain registration, website fees, video editing, video deposits and consultation services.

Dakolo's lawyers maintained that the allegations damage the singer's reputation and indicated that appropriate legal steps would be taken to address the matter.
