Drama Deepens as Alleged Baby Mama Threatens Cubana Chief Priest with Traditional Deity Over Paternity Dispute

Kenyan woman Helen Ati, who claims to have a child with Nigerian nightlife businessman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has issued a dramatic threat to involve a traditional deity in a bid to compel him to take a DNA test and accept responsibility for their alleged child.

In a fiery video shared on her Instagram page, Helen accused the nightlife mogul of mocking her online, neglecting their child, and stealing her “star”, leaving her to suffer alone.

“Don’t play with me. You worry me too much. You don’t want to return my star. You don’t want to take care of this boy. You don’t want to do DNA. You just want me to suffer. I will report you to the Nsukka deity in Igbo land quietly, and you won’t know,” she declared in the emotional clip.

Helen’s threats came with the promise of spiritual consequences if Cubana Chief Priest continued to avoid her demands. She stated clearly that she could no longer bear the weight of single parenting without support and insisted that a paternity test was necessary to resolve the matter.

💬 Opinion: Modern Issues, Traditional Measures?

This unfolding situation is one that speaks to the intersection of modern relationship struggles and deep cultural beliefs. While courts and DNA tests are the global standard for resolving paternity disputes, Helen's turn to traditional spiritual channels — particularly threatening to involve a Nsukka shrine — underscores how deep personal pain and desperation can push people toward unconventional paths.

If Helen’s claims are true, the responsible and honourable thing would be for Cubana Chief Priest to submit to a DNA test and put the speculation to rest. In a world where public figures are expected to lead with integrity, such lingering issues only distract from their brand and reputation.

On the other hand, if her accusations are unfounded or fueled by personal resentment, the situation risks being another example of how social media drama can cloud sensitive family issues, especially when a child is involved.

⚖️ What's Really at Stake?

This is more than a celebrity scandal. At the heart of the matter is a child who deserves to grow up knowing the truth about their identity and receiving the support they need. DNA testing is a straightforward, scientific solution — one that, if embraced, can provide clarity and possibly peace for both parties.

The longer this issue remains unresolved, the more toxic it becomes — especially in the court of public opinion.

What’s your take? Should Cubana Chief Priest take the DNA test to clear the air, or is this another case of social media dragging private matters too far into the spotlight?
