Angela Okorie Clears the Air on WhatsApp Group Controversy, Seeks Jstice for Mohbad
Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has finally addressed the ongoing WhatsApp group chat controversy that has been trending on social media.
In a post shared via her Instagram, Angela revealed she was briefly added to the group by someone she knows but immediately exited after realizing that the discussions did not align with her values or interests.
“The moment I saw that it was not about me, I vacated the building,” she stated.
Angela emphasized her disinterest in drama, explaining that she prefers to focus on her personal and professional growth rather than get entangled in public conflicts.
She also expressed her admiration for Iyabo Ojo, describing her as someone she respects deeply and often supports when invited. Angela further clarified that despite her past support for Naira Marley, she still stands for justice for the late singer Mohbad, who died under controversial circumstances in 2023.
“Everybody knows I like Naira Marley... even during the whole saga with Mohbad, people were dragging me. But anybody that is human will definitely want justice for him,” she said.
Angela urged the public to stop the hatred and expressed hope that the issues surrounding Mohbad’s death would be resolved.
Her comments add a new layer to the ongoing debate, especially surrounding the leaked messages and conflicting opinions within the celebrity circle over the #JusticeForMohbad movement.
