Portable Slams VeryDarkMan: “Stop Deceiving Nigerians Over Mohbad”
Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has taken a swipe at social media activist Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), accusing him of manipulating Nigerians and turning the late singer Mohbad's death into a publicity tool.
In a strongly worded video message, Portable criticized VDM for his ongoing attacks on actress Iyabo Ojo, who was one of the most vocal celebrities in the Justice for Mohbad campaign.
“VeryDarkMan, you came out deceiving Nigerians that you want justice for Mohbad. You’re a manipulator,” Portable said.
The Zazu crooner questioned why VDM, who initially championed Mohbad’s case, is now allegedly dragging the late singer and shifting narratives, rather than supporting efforts to honor his memory.
“Leave Mohbad and let him rest in peace. Why are you dragging the dead? You’re the one who first alleged that Mohbad was killed. Now you’re making a U-turn,” he added.
Portable further argued that VDM is dividing public attention and jeopardizing the real cause by constantly calling out Iyabo Ojo, instead of holding the right people accountable.
“Are you the one who will tell Nigerians who is good or not? Stop deceiving Nigerians,” he concluded.
The outburst adds to the growing drama surrounding the controversial Justice for Mohbad campaign, which has seen a wave of accusations, leaked chats, and celebrity clashes in recent weeks.
