Priscilla Ojo Opens Up on Rumours Surrounding Husband Juma Jux as Couple Reflect on Parenthood Journey
Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo has shared a deeply personal revelation about the challenges she and her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux faced before the birth of their first child.
Speaking in an interview with media personality Chude Jidenowo, she disclosed that her husband was once unfairly speculated to be impotent in Tanzania simply because he had no children at the age of 35, despite his fame and past relationships.
According to her, the speculation grew stronger because many of his peers in the music industry already had children, leading to unnecessary public assumptions about his personal life.
She further revealed that even after the couple welcomed their son, Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada in August 2025, rumours persisted online suggesting surrogacy or medical procedures rather than a natural birth.
Priscilla and Juma Jux had earlier formalised their union with a civil wedding in Tanzania in February 2025, followed by traditional and white weddings in Nigeria in April 2025.
Opinion: A Reminder of How Fame Often Distorts Private Lives
This situation around Juma Jux and Priscilla Ojo reflects a recurring issue in celebrity culture—where silence or privacy is often misinterpreted as a problem.
In reality, personal timelines around marriage and childbirth are not indicators of health or capability, yet public speculation tends to fill gaps with assumptions, especially when celebrities are involved.
The couple’s experience also highlights how quickly narratives can shift from admiration to scrutiny once fame is involved. Even after the arrival of their child, the persistence of conspiracy-like rumours shows how difficult it is for public figures to fully control their own story.
Ultimately, their journey serves as a reminder that public perception is often louder than truth—but not always more accurate.
