Temi Otedola Calls Husband Mr Eazi “Strict” as Couple Open Up About Marriage and Pregnancy Journey

Model and actress Temi Otedola has described her husband, Nigerian singer Mr Eazi, as a strict person during a playful conversation about their relationship.

The couple opened up about their marriage, pregnancy journey and personal dynamics on Temi’s podcast, where she revealed that her husband’s strong personality sometimes makes him come across as strict and judgmental.

Mr Eazi appeared surprised by the description and questioned her, but Temi insisted that his strict nature is part of who he is, especially when it comes to certain values and behaviours.

The singer, however, defended himself by explaining that he has made conscious efforts to become more relaxed in their relationship.

“I actually think I’ve been really chill with you. I’ve pushed myself from the tendency to manage you or to be your doctor,” he said.

Mr Eazi added that his strong opinions are only about specific issues and do not affect every aspect of their relationship.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being strict. It’s about certain things,” he explained.

Speaking about their pregnancy, Temi revealed that the experience has brought them even closer, noting that her husband enjoys caring for her and often acts like her personal doctor.

She shared that Mr Eazi became protective during the early stages of the pregnancy and even reacted when her sister, DJ Cuppy, stepped in to help, because he wanted to be the one taking care of her.

The soon-to-be mother also revealed that they had to keep the pregnancy private initially and that she spent much of her early months resting because they wanted to be cautious before sharing the news with family.

Temi and Mr Eazi announced they were expecting their first child after sharing a maternity shoot and emotional moments celebrating the new chapter of their lives.

The couple, who got married in a private ceremony at Hallgrímskirkja in 2025, have often shared glimpses of their relationship, from romantic gestures to their approach to handling disagreements.

Temi previously revealed that Mr Eazi prefers expressing his feelings through long emails after disagreements, while the singer has spoken about learning to become more patient and understanding in their marriage.
