Ranchers Bees Appoint Usman Abd’Allah as New Head Coach Ahead of NPFL Challenge

Ranchers Bees Appoint Usman Abd’Allah as New Head Coach Ahead of NPFL Challenge

Newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Ranchers Bees have appointed experienced tactician Usman Abd’Allah as their new head coach.

The club confirmed that Abd’Allah has signed a two-year contract as they prepare for life in Nigeria’s top-flight football following their promotion from the Nigeria National League (NNL).

The 51-year-old coach joins Ranchers Bees with significant experience in Nigerian football, having previously managed clubs including Enyimba, Kano Pillars, and Katsina United, as well as Benin Republic side USCN Cavaliers.

Abd’Allah also had a brief spell with Remo Stars last season, although he was unable to help the team avoid relegation.

Despite that setback, the coach remains highly respected, especially for his achievement of winning the NPFL title with Enyimba during the 2018/19 season.

Ranchers Bees earned promotion to the NPFL after finishing top of the NNL Conference D last season, and the club will now rely on Abd’Allah’s experience to help them compete against Nigeria’s elite teams.

Opinion: Appointing an experienced coach could be a smart move for Ranchers Bees as they prepare for the demands of NPFL football. Promotion is often easier than survival, and newly promoted teams usually need strong leadership to adapt to the intensity of top-flight competition.

Abd’Allah’s biggest task will be building a squad capable of competing consistently, but his previous experience at the highest level gives Ranchers Bees a solid foundation as they begin this new chapter.
