17 Laptops in Lagos From ₦255,000, and Every Price Is Published

Anyone who has tried to buy a laptop online in Lagos knows the routine. You see the machine, you ask the price, and the seller says DM. Then the price depends on how you sound.

TrustedTech, a CAC registered shop selling UK sourced refurbished machines, has gone the other way. All 17 laptops in stock are listed with the full price in the open, from a MacBook Air at ₦255,000 to a Surface Laptop 4 at ₦780,000. Six of them carry 32GB of RAM, and the cheapest of those is ₦385,000.

The stock is ex UK office fleet. Companies buy 32GB machines for staff, replace the whole fleet on a three year cycle, and the machines come out tested, wiped and graded. The age is why the price is low. The RAM does not get smaller.

They also do something rare for this market, which is warn you off their own stock. The Dell Inspiron at ₦365,000 says i7 on the lid, but it is a 7th generation dual core, and the shop’s own page tells you the ₦295,000 ThinkPad will feel faster if you keep thirty tabs open. The MacBook Pro at ₦580,000 has 8GB soldered in, and they say so before you pay, not after.

Every machine comes with a 3 month warranty and a measured battery health reading. You can inspect and test at their Lagos office before any money moves, and if you cannot come in, they will send a video of the exact unit with the serial visible. Lagos delivery is 1 to 2 days at ₦5,000, nationwide 3 to 5 days at ₦12,000.
