Peller Reveals Chaos Outside Wedding Venue, Claims Phone Thefts and Accident Disrupted Celebration
Popular TikTok creator Peller has opened up about the challenges surrounding his traditional wedding, alleging that incidents including phone thefts and a road accident occurred outside the venue and affected guests during the celebration.
Speaking during a livestream, the content creator expressed his disappointment over the reported events, saying he hopes his upcoming white wedding will have a different atmosphere compared to the traditional ceremony.
According to Peller, while the wedding itself was taking place successfully inside the venue, confusion reportedly broke out outside, with some guests allegedly losing their phones to thieves.
“No worry, my white wedding no go be like the way una do that day. Na so I see one video wey car go jam one guy.”
The TikTok star claimed the situation outside the venue was largely caused by suspected street miscreants, popularly referred to as agberos, whom he accused of creating disorder around the event.
“Agbero don occupy Lagos. No be small. Agbero plenty pass guests wey come to my wedding. Agbero plenty outside. People wey come say dem dey snatch their phones. Una know how many phone I don pay for?”
Peller further alleged that one female guest had her phone stolen shortly after arriving at the wedding venue.
“One girl, as she reach, na so dem snatch her phone for gate. Dem run away.”
The content creator also recalled hearing about a reported accident outside while he was inside the hall celebrating his marriage.
“Me wey I dey inside hall dey do my wedding, na so them say I kill person.
“Agbero stay for front of car. Them say comot, he no gree. The car owner vex con jam am.”
Despite the reported incidents, Peller and Jarvis' traditional wedding attracted several celebrities, influencers and prominent personalities, making it one of the most talked-about entertainment events of the year.
The couple, who have built a massive following through their online content, are expected to continue their wedding celebrations with a white wedding ceremony.
Opinion
Peller's experience highlights one of the biggest challenges that often comes with large public events in Nigeria—managing security and crowd control. As celebrity weddings continue to attract thousands of fans and spectators, proper planning around venues becomes just as important as the ceremony itself.
A successful event is not only measured by the glamour inside the hall but also by the safety and comfort of everyone attending. For Peller and Jarvis' upcoming white wedding, stronger security arrangements and better crowd management will likely be a major priority.
The couple's popularity brought excitement and attention to their celebration, but it also came with responsibilities. Ensuring guests can enjoy such milestones without fear of theft, disruption or danger should remain a key part of organising high-profile events.
