BBNaija Winner Imisi Overwhelmed by Victory, Says Her Life Has Been Changed Forever

BBNaija Winner Imisi Overwhelmed by Victory, Says Her Life Has Been Changed Forever

Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisioluwa Ayanwale, has opened up about the emotional rollercoaster she has experienced since emerging victorious in the reality show.

In an appreciation post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, the 23-year-old reality TV star described the past week as “surreal”, saying her life has completely changed since being crowned the winner.

“Exactly one week ago today, y’all changed my life for good forever. I am grateful to God and to all of you. I am struggling to understand what has truly hit me,” she wrote.

Imisi, who has been hailed by fans for her authenticity and humility, also noted that some of her emotions were visible during the winner’s party, where she was seen teary-eyed in several viral clips.

“Most of you can see that in some of the clips that made it to the internet from the Winner’s party last night. It is my prayer that we will all win together in life, because this journey is forever,” she added.

The Oyo State-born fashion designer and actress also expressed her gratitude to MultiChoice, DStv Nigeria, and GOtv Nigeria for giving her the platform that transformed her dreams into reality.

Imisi’s victory marked a significant milestone — not just as one of the youngest winners in the show’s history, but also as a contestant who built her success on grace, resilience, and emotional transparency.

Before her rise to fame, she managed a small fashion brand and spoke openly on the show about personal struggles, including overcoming loss and rebuilding her self-worth. Her authenticity resonated deeply with fans, making her story one of hope and quiet strength.

💭 Opinion: Imisi’s Win — A Celebration of Authenticity in an Age of Performance

In a world where social media often rewards perfection and pretense, Imisi’s win feels refreshingly real. She didn’t try to fit into the usual Big Brother “character mold” — loud, controversial, or manipulative. Instead, she leaned into honesty, vulnerability, and kindness — qualities often seen as weaknesses in the fast-paced race for clout.

Her journey reminds us that being real still wins hearts. Viewers saw not a curated image, but a young woman navigating her emotions, faith, and ambitions in real time. And that relatability made her victory even more powerful.

As she steps into the next phase of her career, Imisi’s humility will be tested by fame — but if her post-win gratitude is anything to go by, she seems grounded enough to handle it with grace.

Her story isn’t just about winning ₦150 million; it’s about proving that in a world obsessed with noise, authenticity still speaks the loudest. 🌟
