Majin Mohammed Shuts Down Exit Rumors, Reaffirms Commitment to Niger Tornadoes

Majin Mohammed Shuts Down Exit Rumors, Reaffirms Commitment to Niger Tornadoes

Head coach Majin Mohammed has firmly dismissed growing speculation suggesting he is set to part ways with Niger Tornadoes, insisting he remains fully focused on the club’s preparations for the upcoming 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

Reports had emerged hinting that Mohammed could be replaced by Bala Mohammed, sparking uncertainty among fans. However, in an exclusive statement to TalkTalk Nigeria, the experienced tactician cleared the air:

“For now I am still with Niger Tornadoes,” he stated.

According to TalkTalk Nigeria’s checks, Majin Mohammed is currently overseeing preseason training sessions in Minna, as the Ikon Allah Boys look to build on last season’s survival campaign.

🔎 Opinion: Mohammed Deserves Time, Not Pressure

After steering Niger Tornadoes clear of relegation and finishing 13th last season, Mohammed deserves credit, not rumors of a replacement. His calm approach and tactical discipline played a vital role in stabilizing the club during a tough NPFL campaign.

With the 2025/26 season on the horizon, continuity might just be the key for a more confident and competitive Tornadoes side. If backed with the right resources, Mohammed could turn the club from survival strugglers to top-half contenders.
