‘It Can Only Be God’ — Actress Bimpe Akintunde Recounts Miraculous Childbirth After Nearly 10 Years
Nollywood actress and media personality Bimpe Akintunde, popularly known as Wasila Coded, has shared the emotional story of her second childbirth — an experience she describes as nothing short of miraculous.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Bimpe revealed that her pregnancy journey was far from smooth. She battled chronic low blood pressure, endured multiple emergency hospital visits, and faced the emotional weight of waiting nearly a decade for this moment.
Recalling the dramatic day, she said her water broke unexpectedly and labour began much faster than anyone anticipated.
“Aya mi ja (my heart skipped). I went to the restroom, saw water break, called the doctor — ‘No! That’s too fast!’ Before I knew it, contraction no be anybody mate o,” she wrote, mixing her words with prayers, songs, and laughter at the memory.
In less than three hours — without a caesarean section and with zero complications — Bimpe delivered what she calls her “precious gift from God,” marking the fastest labour recorded at the clinic this year.
She expressed gratitude to God for the safe delivery, writing:
“After almost 10 years… NOT CS, no complications… My God came through in a miraculous way. Mom and daughter doing fine. Dear God, it can only be You… Alhamdulilai Robil Alameen.”
Opinion:
Bimpe’s story is more than a personal testimony — it’s a reminder that the road to motherhood can be filled with battles that outsiders never see. For many women, pregnancy is far from the rosy picture often painted; it’s a journey of faith, resilience, and strength.
Her gratitude and joy reflect a truth worth remembering: miracles still happen, often in the most unexpected ways. And whether one measures it in years of waiting or hours of labour, the beauty of new life remains unmatched.
For her fans, this is not just a birth announcement — it’s a story of hope for anyone still waiting on their own answered prayers.
