Skit Maker Trinity Guy Expresses Desire to Meet Davido, Says He Fears Singer “Hates” Him

Skit Maker Trinity Guy Expresses Desire to Meet Davido, Says He Fears Singer “Hates” Him

Popular skit maker and prankster Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, popularly known as IamTrinityGuy, has expressed his heartfelt wish to meet Afrobeats superstar Davido, revealing that his repeated efforts to connect with the singer have been unsuccessful.

In a candid post shared on his verified Facebook page, Trinity Guy—who has often declared himself a die-hard fan of Davido—confessed that he sometimes feels the singer may dislike him due to the lack of opportunity to meet in person.

“I think Davido hates me… sometimes I even think maybe I offended him before. I promised myself last year (2024) that I would see Davido before the end of the year, but till now, no movement. God, I dey use this moment to pray, please make it easy for me, I want to see Davido before the end of this year,” he wrote.

The comedian’s post has since generated reactions from fans, with many urging him not to lose hope and reminding him that Davido is known for his generosity and accessibility.

Opinion: Fame, Dreams, and the Human Side of Celebrity Love

Trinity Guy’s emotional outpouring is a window into the power of admiration and connection that celebrities inspire. For millions of fans, meeting an idol is not just about selfies or clout—it’s about touching the person who, through music or art, has touched their hearts.

Davido, often celebrated for his openness and kindness, has built a reputation as one of the most approachable stars in Nigeria’s music industry. From gifting millions to strangers online to standing by his fans in moments of need, the “30BG” boss has consistently shown a human side that endears him to many.

But as Trinity Guy’s experience shows, access doesn’t always come easy. Celebrities juggle schedules, commitments, and sometimes walls of protection that make personal meetings harder than fans expect. This doesn’t necessarily mean dislike—it’s often the price of fame.

What stands out in Trinity Guy’s post is his vulnerability. Behind the jokes, pranks, and laughter he shares online lies a young man with a genuine dream: to meet someone who inspires him. And that’s something many of us can relate to.

Perhaps, just perhaps, Davido might see this heartfelt plea and turn it into one of those magical “OBO moments” where dreams meet reality. After all, if there’s anything we know about Davido, it’s that he has a big heart for his fans.
