Barcola Requests PSG Exit as Arsenal and Liverpool Show Interest in French Star
Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola has reportedly requested to leave the club amid growing interest from Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool.
The 23-year-old winger enjoyed a successful season with PSG, becoming an important part of the squad as the French champions lifted both the UEFA Champions League and Ligue 1 titles. Barcola contributed 13 goals across all competitions and continued to develop into one of Europe’s most exciting attacking talents.
However, his campaign ended with frustration after he was left out of the starting lineup for the Champions League final, with Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia preferred in PSG’s attacking setup.
According to reports from talkSPORT, that disappointment, combined with interest from England, has influenced Barcola’s decision to consider a move away from Paris.
The French international primarily operates from the left wing — a position that could make him an attractive target for Arsenal, who are reportedly looking to strengthen that area of their squad. Liverpool have also been linked with the attacker as they continue to monitor attacking options.
Barcola’s situation presents an interesting dilemma for PSG. The club has invested heavily in building a squad capable of competing at the highest level, but keeping a talented player who feels overlooked could become difficult.
For Arsenal and Liverpool, signing Barcola would represent more than just adding another winger. His pace, creativity, and ability to attack defenders directly fit the profile of modern Premier League forwards.
Whether PSG are willing to allow one of their brightest young stars to leave remains uncertain, but Barcola’s transfer request has certainly opened the door for a potential summer battle between two English giants.
