Arsenal Open 2026/27 Premier League Season Against Coventry City as Full Fixtures Released
Arsenal FC will begin their 2026/27 Premier League campaign with a home fixture against newcomers Coventry City FC at the Emirates Stadium on Friday, August 21.
The opening-day clash gives the Gunners an early opportunity to set the tone for the new season in front of their supporters, while Coventry will be looking to make a memorable return to top-flight football.
Arsenal’s first away match of the campaign comes one week later when they travel to Villa Park to face Aston Villa FC on Saturday, August 29.
The north London side face a challenging start to the season, with a major London derby against Chelsea FC scheduled for September 5, before difficult encounters against teams such as Liverpool FC and Manchester City FC later in the campaign.
Arsenal’s first meeting with Liverpool comes away from home on October 31, while they welcome Manchester City to the Emirates on November 28. The return fixture against City will take place at the Etihad Stadium on January 30.
The festive period brings a demanding run for the Gunners, including matches against Manchester United FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC and Crystal Palace FC.
Arsenal’s final stretch of the season includes important fixtures against Chelsea away, Aston Villa at home and Tottenham at the Emirates before they close the Premier League campaign against Brighton & Hove Albion on May 30.
With another title challenge expected, Arsenal’s consistency throughout a demanding schedule will be crucial. The Gunners will need to handle the pressure of big matches while avoiding dropped points against the league’s emerging sides.
