Beşiktaş sporting director Önder Özent has dismissed reports suggesting that an official bid has been submitted for Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi, insisting the Turkish club has not received any formal offer for the midfielder.

Ndidi has been heavily linked with a move away from the Turkish Super Lig side during the current transfer window, with reports claiming Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad had already made an approach.

However, speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Özent clarified that while there is genuine interest from Saudi Arabia, Beşiktaş is yet to receive a written proposal.

"There is interest from Saudi Arabia in Ndidi. However, no official written offer has yet arrived. If one comes, we will evaluate it," he said.

The statement casts doubt on recent transfer speculation, indicating that negotiations have not progressed beyond expressions of interest.

Ndidi joined Beşiktaş from Leicester City last summer and quickly established himself as an important figure in the squad. The Nigerian international made 31 appearances across all competitions during his debut season, contributing two goals while providing leadership and stability in midfield.
