DeeOne Blasts Davido Over Absence at Soso Soberekon’s Wedding, Accuses Singer of Jealousy
Nigerian comedian DeeOne has criticized Afrobeats superstar Davido over his absence from the wedding of music executive and longtime associate Soso Soberekon, sparking fresh conversations on social media.
Soso Soberekon married his partner, Princess Ebiere, in a glamorous ceremony held in Warri, Delta State, on Saturday. The star-studded event was attended by several celebrities, including Rita Dominic, Ini Edo, Nancy Isime, Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo, Mercy Eke, KCee, E-Money, Cubana Chief Priest, Toke Makinwa, and Peggy Ovire, among others.
However, many fans noticed the absence of Davido, who has maintained a long-standing friendship and business relationship with Soso Soberekon. DeeOne also pointed out that the singer did not publicly congratulate the newlywed on his Instagram page.
Reacting to the situation, the comedian accused Davido of being ungrateful and claimed the singer was envious of Soso Soberekon's success.
"Davido is jealous of Soso Soberekon because Soso is richer than him. He is a terrible human being. He wants good for his colleagues but not more than he does. He is envious and jealous of his colleagues. He was close to Wizkid, not until Wizkid became better than him," DeeOne alleged.
The comedian did not provide evidence to support his claims, and Davido has not publicly responded to the allegations.
DeeOne is known for making controversial remarks about celebrities and has frequently been involved in public disputes with several entertainment personalities.
