Anita Joseph Warns Ex MC Fish to Leave Her Out of Social Media Feuds

Anita Joseph Warns Ex MC Fish to Leave Her Out of Social Media Feuds

Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has issued a stern warning to her estranged husband, Nigerian hypeman Fisayo Olagunju, popularly known as MC Fish, following their recent marriage breakup.

The warning came shortly after MC Fish took to his Instagram stories to defend his profession and role in their five-year union. In a series of posts, he dismissed claims that he relied on Anita for financial support, insisting he has worked as an MC and hype man for over 15 years. He also criticised those who belittle his profession, emphasizing that it remains a viable career and that Anita herself agreed to marry him knowing his line of work.

In response, Anita posted on her Instagram page, urging her ex to stop involving her in online disputes. She wrote:

"Memo to my Ex. I don’t want to run in the mud with you. Please this is a new year; if you have whatever you want to say, please say it now and let me get on with my life… Stop dragging me with your mess. Leave me alone."

Opinion: Anita’s reaction highlights a growing issue in celebrity breakups—the tendency for private matters to spill onto social media. While MC Fish may be defending his reputation and career, Anita’s insistence on boundaries is both reasonable and admirable. It reflects a shift in mindset among public figures who prioritize personal growth and mental peace over engaging in public squabbles.

This situation serves as a reminder that the end of a relationship doesn’t have to translate into public conflict, and celebrities—like anyone else—have the right to shield themselves from unnecessary drama while focusing on positivity and moving forward.
