Arteta Defends Bukayo Saka After Criticism Following Arsenal’s Draw with Bayer Leverkusen
Mikel Arteta has come to the defence of Bukayo Saka after the winger faced criticism following Arsenal F.C.’s 2–2 draw with Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
Saka’s performance during the encounter drew criticism from some fans and pundits, with the England international eventually substituted in the 60th minute. Arteta replaced him with Noni Madueke, whose late impact proved important.

“But overall when you look at his strength and the impulse he has in the team, it’s just incredible.”
