Court Dismisses Pastor Chris Okafor’s Case Against Doris Ogala as Actress Declares Victory

Court Dismisses Pastor Chris Okafor’s Case Against Doris Ogala as Actress Declares Victory

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has announced that a case filed against her by popular cleric Chris Okafor has been dismissed by a Lagos State High Court.

The actress shared the development on her Instagram page on Thursday, expressing excitement over the court's decision and describing it as a personal victory.

Pastor Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, had instituted legal action against Ogala over allegations including cyberbullying, harassment, publication of personal materials, attempted extortion, and the dissemination of false information.

Reacting to the outcome, Ogala celebrated the court's decision with a series of laughing emojis and a strongly worded message directed at the cleric.

"Yes ooo who says God no day. The court dismissed Chris Okafor’s case against me. Hahaha. Now it’s war. Hahaha. JESUS is the ultimate ooo. Tori dey ooo," she wrote.

The legal battle stems from allegations made by the actress in December 2025, when she publicly accused the pastor, whom she described as a former lover, of abandoning her for a younger woman after allegedly promising to marry her.

The controversy generated widespread reactions on social media and attracted significant public attention due to the personalities involved and the nature of the claims.

While details surrounding the court's ruling have not yet been fully disclosed, Ogala's announcement suggests that the case did not proceed in Pastor Okafor's favour.

A New Chapter in a Public Feud?

The dismissal of the case may mark a significant turning point in the highly publicized dispute between the actress and the clergyman. However, Ogala's statement that "now it's war" indicates that the tensions between both parties may be far from over.

Celebrity disputes involving legal action often extend beyond the courtroom, with public perception and social media narratives playing major roles. As a result, both supporters and critics of the actress and the pastor are likely to continue debating the controversy.

For now, Doris Ogala appears to be celebrating what she sees as a major legal victory, while many observers will be waiting to see whether either party takes further action following the court's decision.

As the story develops, one thing remains clear: the dispute has become one of the most talked-about celebrity and religious controversies in recent months, and its final chapter may not have been written yet.
