Yul Edochie Denies Blocking Judy Austin’s Ex-Husband From Seeing His Children, Says Issue Is Between Them
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has reacted to allegations by Emmanuel Obasi, who claimed that the actor prevented him from having access to his children.
Yul addressed the issue through his social media page on Friday after some fans reportedly appealed to him to allow Obasi to reconnect with his children.
The actor denied being responsible for restricting access, insisting that he has never stopped anyone from seeing their children.
“Some of my fans have reached out to me, saying, ‘pls allow him to see his children’,” Yul wrote.
“I have never stopped anybody from seeing his children.”
The actor further stated that the matter does not involve him, advising Obasi to communicate directly with his former wife, Judy Austin, if he wants to discuss seeing or taking responsibility for the children.
“Tell him to call his ex-wife, if he wants to see or take his children, let them discuss it. He has her number. It has nothing to do with me,” he added.
Yul also criticized what he described as the tendency of some people to use social media controversies for attention, saying some individuals prefer seeking online popularity rather than resolving issues privately.
The development adds another chapter to the public conversations surrounding the relationships and family matters involving the actors, with fans continuing to follow the situation closely.
